Today 1S crashed and I lost all my friendlist. osf2f.friends was truncated to 1ko, I had to restore it from backup (123k).
Wouldn't it be preferable to work on a copy of this file instead of the original, to prevent such things to happen ?

The backup copies of the
osf2f.friendsfile (osf2f.friends.backupNNNN) are there to save you when something goes wrong. You can probably not be absolutely sure that working on a copy of theosf2f.friendsfile would save you under all circumstances./bico

Hello, why not adding a little CRC as the 1st dword of this file, so that if it doesn't match on 1S restart, the friendlist is automaticly reloaded from backup with a little failure msg ?

or a complete md5sum of the entire file, each time there's a change to it?
