Great job, keep it up! It would be interesting to know exactly what bugs are being fixed and what features are being updated and so on.

Yes this is a very good idea. Keeping the community informed about what is happening not only when a new release is available but also between releases is a good way of keeping interest very high.
I hope and assume you will keep posting the information in the forum too.
