   It would be nice to be able to utilize Tor with this. But I don't even see an option to specify a proxy.

   Yes it is. You have to look into classic UI, then options. Same settings as Azureus.
   You can use 1S network + bittorrent network through Tor if you wish.

   you shouldn't use Tor for p2p, you flood the Tor network
