I am afraid you are wrong here.
All the Public Community Servers mentionned above (including the russian one) are alive and will give you pairs, except maybe the italian server that i did not have time to check but was reported dead in another post.

Hi, I'm the admin of the Italian server, it's not working anymore since 2 months, mainly because I have no time to maintain it and upgrading to the news CS releases. I am doing a series of talks about anonymous p2p data sharing and OneSwarm in Italy, next will be in Rome. Perhaps there I'll have the chance to get more involvement maintaining an italian CS.
@Rafa, because a new version drops down every day, and I can't solve this problem.

Is there not a huge security hole to allow a Oneswarm client to be syndicated on a HTTP community server ?
It should be very easy to Big Bro' to map the network connexions from/around this CS.

As you point out, it is possible for someone who can monitor the access link of the community server to know which IPs are talking to it. But, what else do they know? All of the communication between peers (and between the community server and the peers, if SSL is enabled) are encrypted using SSL. The intermediary wouldn't be able to recover what data was being shared or with whom.

Rafa is afraid because I successfully ran my test CS without enabling SSL (thats what he meant by 'HTTP CS' iso 'HTTPS CS'). That allows an attacker monitoring the CS communications to discover the IPs and keys of subscribers, as well as the network topology (who is getting who's key).
