   Hi all. We've just issued the first developer release of OneSwarm 0.6.5. The test cycle for this will probably be a bit shorter than 0.6.2. Features and fixes include:

   - support for email invites
   - preliminary support for magnet: and oneswarm: links (requires a reinstall on Windows)
   - redesigned settings UI
   - startup speed improvements, particularly when sharing many files
   - bugfix: download appear to have completed instantly, stuck in error state
   - bugfix: downloading a single file from a collection creates many size 0 files
   - bugfix: unable to enable/disable developer updates
   - bugfix: forwarding and local uploads given equal priority
   - bugfix: several deadlocks and race conditions
   - bugfix: improved utilization when using rate limiting with low limits

   The only problem I have is... where can this be downloaded from? :) I searched in the forum and with google without success.
   I would have searched the OneSwarm network too, but for some reason it currently doesn't work (0 bytes of bandwidth, a search doesn't even try searching and returns 0 results.)

   It's a developper update, to get them you should enable dev updates from the web UI. (Settings/privacy/advanced something like that)

   Since you can't actually turn this on in 0.6.2 (due to bug fixed in 0.6.5), we'll probably build installers for this dev update that will be available in a few hours.

   How the email invites works ?

   I have also try to email diffrent person but they didn't got something from me.
   I try whit person who didn't have oneswarm and I also try to send to them ho have.

   Edit: And I wonder why you most have at least 3 letter when you look for something.
   That means that you cant't look for as exempel U2

   @Majja : i think that "- support for email invites" does not means that this service is already functionable in fact ... :)

   We just know now where we will have to put the email and hit the "send invite" button ! :p

   The send invite button doesn't work in the current dev release. Will be fixed soon 8) (Actually, there are still a few bugs here, even though the button works -- will fix these on Monday)

   What I mean so it woorks when you write only 2 letter.

    @Piatek : a microscopic thing ! The "done" button after the invitation sending doesn't work ... :) (The hit of the cross for close the windows is needed)
    But this Invite works so fine !

    [ And we hope to be quickly able to translate this for local use ... ]

    Link support is working on Macs right now, but on Windows and Linux a reinstall (not just an auto-update) is required for clickable link support in browsers (although add URL links work). You can check out the format of links by clicking a swarm and going to more actions -> copy oneswarm: URL. We'll probably add something to output links for multiple swarms as well.

    Developer updates need to be on for you to get it. Unfortunately, changing the dev update settings in 0.6.2 (the current version) doesn't work. We're building an installer for 0.6.5 now and will post it in a few minutes. That said, the final version is likely to be out in a few days (with many fewer bugs!) so you may just want to hold off for that.

    We're currently working on building a new version of ffmpeg on linux that we wanted to include with the new installers -- should be up in about an hour or so. We're planning to post installers for all platforms using this new version (which is much faster, esp. for transcoding, and supports many more formats!)

    So far so good on mine .. just a problem (not new) and that is that my connection seems to choke when I god >15 friends online. All other internet activity grinds to a halt and 1S speed is throttled.

    I assume my "router" won't handle so many connections .. or it might be XP x32 that I'm running now.
