The meaning of "PC" is NOT "Intel based computer". You can call any computer you like a "PC", if that is your "personal computer".

lets see seeing as apple dropped the IBM ppc CPU apple is NOW a "pc" seeing as it is using a intel x86 cpu
Linux also runs on an intel x86 cpu
so
x86 cpu IS "pc"
Mac = pc
Linux = pc
MS Windows = pc

However i am guessing you mean a Microsoft Windows computer
Windows XP
Vista
Windows7

the Microsoft instructions would depend on just WHAT windows operating system and what version
1)home basic
2)home
3) business
4) ultimate

Microsoft DOSE NOT like to play nice with other operating systems
And MS very often will not even see other NOT Microsoft OS's

for doing ANY file transfers with a MicroSoft computer in the mix install "samba" and use that

Hello everyone,
I am running tests on oneswarm between me and a friend to test it before using it with a larger group of friends.

I have a Mac and a PC and she has only a Mac.

Everything works on every machine, she is friend with both my PC and my Mac, my two computers are friends with each other. We can see each other connected, chat etc.

When we try to download files between the two Macs, it works fine but when it is between a Mac and the PC, the download stays at 0% and says 0b/s whether it is the PC or the Mac who is downloading.
I can't even exchange files between the Mac and the PC who are on the same LAN !

Can you give me advices about this problem ? I have already tried to open my PC's firewall for Oneswarm and to run it as administrator.

Thanks.
